Responsibilities:

Managing the Technology Department and responsible for all its duties, including the support of the complete technical sales project and providing support to the Sales Department.  Providing information and documentation of the provided solutions to support sales and engineering processes.  Account support management, responsible for all customers from a technical pre-sales support situation.  Managing the Technical Account planning for selling solutions.  Primary technical contact with third parties and responsible for the preparation and execution of solutions, technical presentations and training customers.

Special Requirements:

Knowledge and experience in pre-sales process management, must have Sun Microsystems proven experience in all products and offerings, Certified  in Sun Microsystems, pre-sales, Systems Administration and trouble shooting, SAN design and administration, WAN and LAN network design  and administration.  Must have experience developing C/++ programs in UNIX for Solaris environment.  Must have TELCO IT operations knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Establishes current and long-range, objectives, plans and policies, subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Responsible for sales growth objectives and marketing strategies set forth by the Board of Directors. Reviews analysis of activities and forecast data to determine department and division progress towards stated goals and objectives. Confers with Chief Administrative Officer and other Administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status conditions. Oversee product development, develop pricing strategies, maximize company’s profit, sales growth.  Responsible for relationship with existing and new suppliers. 

Special Requirements:

Must have proven knowledge and experience in Sun Microsystems’ products, strategies and sales.  Experience in IBM, Digital and other competing technologies a plus.
